Hi There,
I checked my kestrel box yesterday and was pleased to find 4 nestlings. It appears to me that some are a few days older than others. See attached pictures showing the different stages of feather development. Is it common to have a spread in ages?

Hi Reiny,
Hi Reiny,
It is possible that your nestlings hatched a day or two apart, which may be why you see slight age variation. Our KestrelCam nestlings hatched over the span of 3 days, from Thursday afternoon through Saturaday. Your nestlings are looking good! Keep up the great work! -Sarah
