We checked our 27 kestrel
We checked our 27 kestrel nest boxes yesterday here in Fall Creek, WI. We have 5 active boxes with 19 kestrel eggs. We banded one adult male and one adult female sitting on eggs. 10 of our nest boxes had Starlings in them. We removed their nests and eggs. Our private citizens relayed to us that they have 4 active boxes with 4-5 eggs in each box. We will check our nest boxes again in two weeks. Soon we should have juvenile kestrels!

We are getting into that time as well. The KestrelCam box has an estimated hatch date that falls on Memorial Day weekend. We're keeping our eyes peeled!
