I have upgraded my camera from the very cheap "see snake" type to a still cheap "web cam" type. It has the advantage of a focus ring around the lens. The camera and a USB extension cable cost about $40. I attached the camera at the end of two sections of a roof rake. The accompanying photos show the female before she moved off of the eggs, and then the eggs. Note that this box contains wood wool (excelsior) over aspen chips. I hope the nestlings don't get tangled up in the wood wool.
