I am an Ornithologist from Universidad Michoacana in Central West Mexico. I have been conducting a study on winter ecology of Kestrels in agricultural landscapes of the state of Michoacan.
This winter October 2015-March 2016. We banded (aluminum and color bands) around 40 individuals. In adition we deployed a plastic flag on the wings with the code MX followed by a consecutive number. In the backside my e-mail javo_salgado@yahoo.com.mx for contact.
We would benefit a lot if someone happens to see one of these individuals during the breeding season. We have no idea where they go for breeding.
